I’m writing to let you know about the excellent service that I received from my agent Kelly Pornour.
It all started back in late 2006, when my dad and I were contemplating selling our two homes in Seattle and purchasing one together in Redmond. Considering my father had been living in the same house for 20 years, it was a daunting task but having Kelly on our side was a huge help and we weren’t really familiar with the
Redmond area so we didn’t know where to start.
I talked to Kelly and she started the process immediately. She spoke with us and made sure that she had a firm idea of what it was that we were looking for. She started sending listings immediately and daily and was very flexible in showing us homes that we were interested in. She also went out to look at houses for us, eliminating those that she knew did not suit our needs and showing us those that she thought might be a good fit. It didn’t take long for us to find a house that we all loved. She promptly began negotiating for us.
The sellers accepted our contingent offer and that’s when we really felt the pressure to get my dad’s house on the market. It was quite overwhelming but Kelly was there almost everyday, helping my dad pack, clean, and get the house staged to sell. It all happened so quickly and painlessly that I still can’t believe we got it done, but we did! We got offers almost immediately and, though there was some negotiating toward the end with the buyers, Kelly stayed on top of everything and made sure to keep us informed and ultimately my dad was very happy with the results.
When it came to selling my house, Kelly and her team worked just as efficiently. We prepped the house for the stagers and Kelly took care of everything else, which was awesome for me because I work on the eastside. It took only a week to sell my house and we just closed and the entire process went so smoothly and I know that it is all because I had the most amazing agent on my side.
Throughout the entire process of selling two homes and purchasing the new one, my family felt confident knowing that we had such an amazing advocate looking out for us. She is extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about what she does and it made the experience a very positive one for everyone in my family. Even when things got sticky during negotiations on my dad’s house, Kelly kept her cool, advised us on our options, and encouraged us to make the decision that we needed to and acted on that.
My dad and I were saying the other day how lucky we were to have been able to work with Kelly and are going to recommend her to anyone that is looking to buy or sell a home. Kelly is very committed to her clients and her commitment shines through in her team as well.
